July 5, 2008
July 5. In the morning Rev. Douglas MacLeod will bring a message on the Heidelberg Catechism's Lord's Day #3, "Image is Everything" (Gen 1:26-27; Eph 4:24). This will lead into our sharing in the sacrament of the Lord's Supper. In the evening we will gather for worship at 5:00 PM at the Calvin College Chapel with the Woodlawn, Plymouth Heights, and Fuller Ave congregations. NEXT WEEK AT CALVIN CHURCH:
- July 12. Rev. Douglas MacLeod will be preaching in both services. The morning message will further explore the Heidelberg Catechism's Lord's Day #3 (Q&A 7-8), "Whose Fault Is It?" (Gen 1:26-31; Romans 5:12-21). The evening message, "In View of God's Mercy" (Romans 12:1-2) will be the first in several evening messages on Romans 12:1-8.
