Inter-Faith Hospitality Network (IHN)

Calvin Church is privileged to be one of fifteen area churches which form the local branch of the national IHN program. Once every three months the church becomes home to as many as five families or a total of fourteen guests without homes.

The families sleep overnight in the church for the entire week and are also provided with supper, breakfast, as well as activities for the children. The families spend the daytime hours at a Day Center where a licensed social worker helps the families re-secure a permanent home. Up to 80 Calvin Church volunteers are needed each host week to perform the many necessary tasks of this vital ministry of love!
