The Little Children: TLC

TLC is a play and worship program for preschool children which meets during our morning worship service from 10:00 AM to approximately 11:15 AM.  Children enjoy play time, a Bible story, songs, a snack, and coloring or a craft in response to the story.  Through playing, singing, and story time, the youngest post-nursery children have the opportunity to continue their friendships with their earlier nursery acquaintances, to experience the joy of group singing, and to learn Bible stories on a simple level.   The program is located in the lower level, rooms 19 and 20 (follow the TLC signs from any stairwell).

Worship Center

During the morning worship service, the kindergarten through 2nd grade children meet with the minister at the front of the sanctuary for the children’s message, after which they are dismissed to their respective classrooms, where they are taught from a curriculum titled Children and Worship.   In this special program developed by Sonja Stewart, the children continue to learn the stories of the Bible while also learning the parts and the meaning of Christian worship.
