Welcome!

If you are visiting Calvin for the first time, you may be wondering what to expect.

We are a friendly church. Greeters will welcome you and can answer your questions or offer directions. You will see we are of many ages and walks of life. Some will be wearing professional attire, and others will be in jeans. Please wear what is comfortable for you.

Our service follows the liturgy printed in the bulletin without prompting. Our worship centers on God’s Word. Scripture reading and a biblically based sermon are a part of every service. Bibles are available in the pew. Music is an integral part of our worship and may include vocalists and instrumentalists as well as congregational singing.

An offering is received by the exits at the end of the service to support our ministries. Visitors are not expected to give. However, if you would like to make a gift as an act of worship to God, we will gladly receive it.

Opportunities for fellowship . . .

We hope you will join everyone in the Fellowship Hall after the service for coffee and conversation. We would love to meet you and get to know you better.

Opportunities for family . . .

During the morning service, nursery is offered for infants and toddlers. Two and three year-olds may join TLC (The Little Children) classrooms or sit with their parents. As a part of worship children are invited to the front of the sanctuary to hear a message just for them. After that, children in kindergarten through second grade may attend Worship Center for the rest of the worship time. Activity bags are available by the front entrance for children to borrow and enjoy during the service as well.
