We gather weekly to meet and be met by God. Our sanctuary incorporates architectural elements, stained glass, and artwork to remind us of God, the Holy Bible, and our core Christian beliefs. We practice a traditional style of worship as we seek to glorify God and renew our hearts for service as God’s people.
Our order of worship begins with recognition that we are present specifically because God has called us to do this. We confess our sins and seek God’s grace, upon which we depend. Scripture is read and serves as the foundation for the sermon. Thoughtful preaching challenges us to turn to Christ and grow as his disciples.
We receive the grace of Jesus Christ in the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper which we celebrate on the first Sunday of each month. All who have been baptized into Christ, and who desire to honor him with grateful and obedient living, are invited to participate in this sacrament discerning that this bread and cup are signs and seals of God’s love for us and that we who participate are members of Christ’s body. We serve gluten-free bread and non-alcoholic grape juice.
We incorporate music — traditional and contemporary hymns, singing from children and adult choirs, bells, and more — into the worship experience. We respond in gratitude to God’s word by offering gifts that are used to support our ministries of care, benevolence, missions, and community outreach. We conclude the service with a Benediction – a blessing from God that carries us through the week. We offer a warm welcome to any and all who wish to join us in worship and praise of the Almighty Triune God.
