Calvin Church knows a healthy Christian life continues beyond worship on Sunday. A wide variety of groups provide you with opportunities to gather and enjoy community. Bible Study
Women’s Bible Study
Come engage in coffee and prayer time, followed by Bible study. The women meet on Wednesday afternoons starting in October and running through April, with a break around Christmas.
Fellowship Opportunities
Connections Club
A mix of singles and couples from post-college age to mid-life, Connections Club meets approximately every other month on a Saturday night. Some past events include karaoke, an escape room, River City Improv, a golf scramble, and game night at a member’s home.
Family Suppers
Twice a month, supper is served at church for young families and all those participating in Wednesday night church programs. Skip the fast food, step away from the frenzy, and enjoy some good food and conversation here at church instead.
Book Club
We love to read books and talk about them! Book club meets once per month on Monday.
Movie Discussion Groups
These intergenerational adult groups meet four or five times a year in members’ homes to have a lively discussion of a previously viewed movie.
Bon Appétit
Each fall, small groups are formed for eating meals together several times during the year. Some dine out, others meet in homes. This is a great way to get to know each other and enjoy good food!
Senior Fellowship Hour
Seniors, retirees, widows, widowers, or anyone who is looking for an opportunity to connect with other church members are welcome to attend this once monthly time of fellowship! We gather for coffee, cookies, games, and fellowship.
