Adult Vocal Choirs
The Sanctuary choir sings for most morning services and occasional evening services and is open to all adults who love to sing. Rehearsals are held in the balcony choir room on Wednesday evenings.
Open to anyone who enjoys singing, especially holiday music, this expansion of the Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Wednesdays for three weeks in the balcony choir room just before Christmas and Easter. Please watch the bulletin for further information and join us.
Youth Vocal Choirs
The Youth Choir’s role is to provide an opportunity for all of our middle and high school students to occasionally sing for our worship services. The Youth Choir usually sings at two youth-led services during the year. Recognizing our students’ busy lives, rehearsals will be one hour before each service when the choir is designated to sing.
Covenant Choir is open to children in grades 3 through 8 and participates in approximately two services per month. They meet on Wednesday evenings for rehearsal.
Our Cherub Choir is for our singers who are in kindergarten through grade two. The Cherubs sing in our services about once each month. They meet on Wednesdays for rehearsal.
This handbell choir consists of thirteen adults who participate in worship services approximately once a month. They rehearse most Wednesday evenings and ring on five octaves of Malmark bells and five octaves of chimes. New members and substitutes are always welcome!
Ten students in fifth through eighth grade meet on Wednesday evenings. They are learning to read music as they learn to ring three octaves of Malmark bells and chimes.
Other Instrument Ensembles
Anyone who enjoys playing a musical instrument is urged to participate in the church orchestra. The orchestra typically plays at two services during the year. Rehearsals are arranged prior to each service.
